DewDefenders — Privacy Policy

DewDefenders is a single-player game. It has no accounts, no chat, and no server of ours.
What we store
All game progress — unlocked defenders, upgrades, cosmetics you have equipped, and your settings — is stored on your device. There is no account and we run no server, so we never see your progress and could not retrieve it for you if you asked.
Your device's own backup may include that saved data: on Android, the system copies app data to your Google Drive when device backup is switched on. That copy belongs to your Google account, not to us — we cannot read it and it never reaches us. It is what lets your garden come back when you reinstall the game or set up a new phone, and you can switch it off in your device's backup settings.
Purchases are recorded by Google Play (or the Apple App Store), not by us. Restoring purchases asks the store what your account owns.
Advertising
The game shows rewarded videos only — short ads you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game bonus. They are served by Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), IP address, approximate location derived from it, and ad-interaction data in order to serve and measure ads. Where required (EEA and UK), a consent form is shown before any ad request, and you can choose non-personalized ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings. On iOS, personalized ads are only served if you allow tracking when the system asks.
Buying The Everblooming Ward removes every reason to watch an ad; no ad is ever required to play.
What we do not do
- No selling of personal data.
- No analytics SDKs beyond the ad provider's own measurement.
- No access to contacts, location services, camera, microphone, or files.
- No data collection by the game itself — it has no server to send anything to.
Children
The game is intended for players 13 and up. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
